Pixel, also known as a picture element,is a single point in a raster image. It is the smallest unit of picture that can be represented or controlled.
Examples:
DPI (Dots per inch)is the number of individual dots that can be placed in a line within 1 inch. Therefore, the number it equals is the resolution of the image.
